You've come to the right place if you're looking to learn how to protect the environment at a construction site. San Francisco Estuary Project, the San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board, and Bay Area Municipal Stormwater Programs have collaborated to develop trainings for contractors and builders to keep you in compliance.

You will learn:

  • Regulations governing stormwater pollution
  • Stormwater permit requirements for construction sites
  • Best Management Practice (BMP)s to avoid stormwater pollution
  • What to look for on a construction site to determine compliance with regulations

Good management at construction projects Workshops are from 8 am to 3 pm. Morning refreshments and lunch are provided. Each workshop includes a field trip to a demonstration site where you will see BMPs in place and discuss compliance issues. Transportation will be provided to the site & the visit will be conducted rain or shine. Please dress accordingly!
