State of the Estuary Reports

State of the Estuary Reports are reports that describe the existing state of the Bay/Delta estuary and how the estuary is influenced by local and regional activities. It is based primarily on the Estuary Project's technical reports. It contains valuable information on the Bay/Delta estuary's physical characteristics, its development and uses by humans, status and trends of its habitats, fish, wildlife and information on wetlands, freshwater flows, pollutants, dredging and waterway modifications.

These reports are a part of the implementation of the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP). They will be updated biennially and future State of the Estuary reports will evaluate the effectiveness of CCMP and will identify any additional actions needed to meet its goals.
